My Brother’s Workshop Chooses New Board of Directors Officers

At the annual meeting of My Brother’s Workshop held in February, longtime supporter Ty Troutman of Bechtel was elected president of its board of directors. Troutman will replace Lisa Hamilton, who served as MBW board president for two years and also held the position as secretary. Hamilton has served on the board since 2014.

MBW Cafe and Bakery Reopens for Take Out Orders

On March 18, My Brother’s Workshop (MBW) Cafe and Bakery closed to the public to transform their kitchen into a feeding center for those in need. With the help of 78 community partners, MBW board and committee members, staff, trainees and over 115 volunteers, MBW was able to serve 37,923 meals to the vulnerable population on St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix.
